Dispatch is an ongoing MBA capstone class project developed as part of a team pitch to Ithaca College for funding. The project centers on the launch of a fashion and culture zine (student and alumni-run), accompanied by a live fashion show, blending editorial storytelling with experiential elements.
Since starting the production phase of this project in December 2025, two students have been able to get jobs with the work they've done for Dispatch. Which is its whole point: to get professional experience in creative industries while just starting out.
As Editor-in-Chief and Creative Director, I oversee the creative and editorial direction of the publication and brand while maintaining clear standards as the project evolves. My role includes developing concepts, planning, styling, and directing photoshoots alongside a team of students, editing digital content, getting brand sponsorships, and shaping the overall brand vision. The goal is to balance editorial standards with experimentation, allowing the zine to feel both polished and creatively ambitious.
This project is currently in its early phases, with additional content, collaborations, and live components in development. The first issue will launch on April 8th. As it progresses, Dispatch will continue to grow as a platform that merges editorial, fashion, storytelling, and Ithaca culture.
